Your Task
Explore a part of your community in a way that Lewis and Clark explored a part of the west. Be ready to share your knowledge and why you think it is important to Grand Island.
Planning your Expedition
* Pick a location that interests you.
* Post your choice. Groups of students will view your choice, adding one thing they know about the place and one thing they want to learn. The explorer team needs to consult the chart before leaving.
Sharing Your Expedition
*Fill out the Comparison Chart
*Make a journal entry describing your expedition modeled after journal entries of Lewis and Clark.
* Present your Expedition as a group. (See Rubric)
