About the Teacher
Mrs. Colette Sorensen teaches third grade at Shoemaker School in Grand Island, Nebraska. She began teaching at Shoemaker in 1980. Grand Island has been home to Mrs. Sorensen since she was a young child. She attended West Lawn Elementary, Walnut Middle School, and Grand Island Senior High School. Her Bachelor and Master's Degrees are from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She and her husband, Kent stay busy with their two high school sons, Chuck and Nick. Mrs. Colette Sorensen
