Medal Count
Honorable Mention-10 points
Bronze Medal-  15 points
Silver Medal-  20 points
Gold Medal-  25 points

Points are earned for reading nine out of ten grade 4-6 books, and earn at least ten points. 
GIPS students at or below that grade range are eligible to work from
September, 2007 - April 15, 2008 to complete their books and projects. 

Students that read at least four of the grade appropriate titles are also eligible to vote
for the Nebraska State Golden Sower Nominees by April 15, 2008.

Book Projects-  5 points	Author Study- 5 points	Vocabulary- 3 points	Sound Studio Fluency-  1 point
	Reading Counts Quiz- 1 point	Illustration and Summary- 1 point	First Class E-Pal Discussion- 4 Points
