1976:  K-12 Music Education Degree from Doane College, Crete NE, where I participated in Choir, Show Choir (USO Tour), Band (Drum Major) and Musical Theater.

1976 - 1979:  K-12 Band and Vocal music education in public schools.

1979:  Six month U.S. tour with the nationally acclaimed Norman Luboff Choir.

1980:  Began employment with the Grand Island Public Schools.

1984-2002:  Choir director at 1st Presbyterian Church.

*1984 - 1996:  12 years directing 5th & 6th grade honor choir, selected to perform for Nebraska Music Educators Convention and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

2000:  Master of Music Education from UNL where I was employed as a Graduate Assistant and sang as a member of the UNL Varsity Singers (60 voice select University Chorale).

*Voice Care Network:  Participated in two summer training sessions at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
*Soli Deo Gloria Cantorum:  Member since 1999. "Cantorum" is a professional chorale based in Omaha that is directed by the husband/wife team Jackson & Almeda Berkey of the famed "Mannheim Steamroller". I have been selected to sing with them in a 3-state concert tour in 2007.

MENC:  Member of Music Educators National Conference.
NMEA:  Member of Nebraska Music Educators Association (attend State Conventions).
ACDA:  Lifetime member of American Choral Directors Association.
NCDA:  Nebraska Choral Directors Association, holding the current State Office of District #4 Representative.
Sing Around Nebraska: Clinician for festival choruses across the state. These choruses are comprised of 150 - 300 singers in grades 4 - 6 that are selected by their music teachers.
District Music Contest:  Adjudicator for high schools in Central Nebraska.
All State Chorus:  Audition site judge.
Picadilly Dinner Theater: Paid professional musical director for two productions.
Grand Island Little Theater:  Musical director for  "Sound of Music" and actor/singer in numerous musicals.
Piano Tuning and Repair Business:  25 years experience.
