Hello. My name is Laura Steinbeck. I am one of three ELL teachers at Starr Elementary. I teach 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade pull-out. This is my first year of teaching. I graduated from Hastings College and did my student teaching in ELL and 2nd grade. My student teaching experience took place at Longfellow Elementary in Hastings.
I currently live in Hastings and commute to Grand Island to work each day. I am orginally from Grand Island. I attended Newell Elementary, Walnut Junior High, and Senior High School. My parents still live in Grand Island. My brother attends Columbia University in New York City.
I created this site during my Technology Integration Experience. We met once a month for the extent of one school year. In this site you will find information about me and my classroom. In addition to these two items, you can also view four units that I created this year.
